Hi everyone! Today’s post is a book haul! When it comes to shopping for your favourite things, anything that makes it home with you is a survivor that has been put through a mega load of questions (will I read/use it?, Are the reviews good, am I judging it by how it looks?) All of these questions are answered by whoever is lucky enough to be shopping with you on that very long day π “I don’t know I’m not the one buying it!” π. Anywho! These are the books that made it out of the store with me! The lucky things! π
1. Holding up the universe by Jennifer Niven.
This book was the reason I went to the bookshop π I read ‘All the bright places’ and it was such a thought provoking book. After hearing about this book I knew I wanted to read it!
2. Looking for Alaska by John Green.
There are a few John Green books in this haul because last year I finished “the fault in our stars”. It was a book that I thought I wouldn’t enjoy after seeing so many advertisements for the film. I bought it on a whim and have to say I was deeply surprised. I love John Green’s writing style!
3. Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
I read a blog review on this book and loved the sound of it!
4. An abundance of Katherine’s by John Green.
5. The midnight gang by David Walliams.
David Walliams has to be my favourite comedian, I grew up watching “Little Britain” π. I read his books before I go to sleep as they are packed with humour and are easy to follow (I don’t process much when i am tired π)
6. Will grayson, Will Grayson by John Green and David Leuithan.
7. Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell.
8. The Jacqueline Wilson colouring book.
Alongside Enid Blyton books I grew up with a collection of Jacqueline Wilson books. I believe these two authors taught me how to escape into a good read! I never was one to colour in Nick Sharrats drawings as I didn’t want to ruin the books, so this colouring book was pounced on!
9. The sun is also a star by Nicola Yoon.
I would like to start writing non spoiler book reviews in the future, emphasis on future π as I don’t rush read books. I never set reading goals as I feel that makes it a chore. I don’t read because I have to, I read because I want to ππ
What book do you think I should read first? At the moment I am reading ‘Fever code’ by James Dashner so will be a while before I start reading these as I enjoy taking my time when reading a good book! Thank you for reading! ππ
I know I m super late but also read a review about a Fangirl today and believe me. I must get it. Not kidding.
