I picked out 4 stock images & am now going to think of what they mean! ✨ Theme: Nature πŸ“Έ

Hello everyone! I hope you’re well and having a nice day wherever you are β™₯️🌍. I also hope that this post goes a long way in providing a sense of escapism ✨. Today I’ve picked out four stock images (from Pexel I’ll have you know!) and I’m going to say what I see + maybe even more if creativity takes ahold! 🀩 The idea for this post came to mind the other night and I thought it would be very fun because who knows, we might read into things the same way or TOTALLY different! 🀯 I’m just going to have fun with it so don’t expect these to be true life depictions of what’s going on (I actually have no idea πŸ˜…). The theme for today is nature and I think it might be a running theme cause that stuffs neverending 🀣. I’ve got loads of plans for how this post may go: I could perhaps try set a scene or tell one of the many stories behind the image (in another dimension I could even be spot on about it too 🀣). This might even inspire something or someone else depending on what is unearthed so let’s get going with the first picture! πŸ§πŸ’«

Am I the only one that thinks of traveling to Hogwarts when they see this? 🀣 It also makes me think of children being sent off to the countryside in war days, away from the city. Individual stories that never got told and how the same goes for events that occur every day. On closer inspection I don’t even think this would be safe to travel on. Maybe it’s one of those water bridges that funnel streams over and not intended to carry vehicles at all…I don’t know if there’s going to be a set answer for any of these images tbh πŸ˜‚. I’d love to walk over mountains like this one day. If you cut out the bridge you could almost see it as someplace Bilbo Baggin’s would have ventured through. It also kind of looks like the bridge from Summer into Autumn with those golden shades creeping in πŸ‚.

This makes me think of vikings preparing for an invasion 🀣. It’s like the calm before a storm yet fire isn’t wholly a “calm” thing, it’s not safe but when harnessed in a candle or something, it can be used for a much more relaxing purpose. This fire on the other hand makes me think of a settlement trying to keep warm. Maybe they’re not prepared at all and don’t know the smoke is drawing their enemies closer. Are my eyes deceiving me or are those huts beside the water? Or taller burnt out fires? Perhaps it’s a signal for help and this being the smallest fire means hope is running low.

I keep thinking another bird, an even bigger one, is going to swoop down and take out this lil thing πŸ˜‚. I kind of ruined a serene image because other than that I see a peaceful forest. At first I thought there was a mossy bed of grass but now I’m beginning to think it’s a lake or marshland. The trees are rising out from beneath the muddy water, they reach all the way to the very bottom where secrets are held…okay now I’m thinking about criminal activity πŸ™„. Can nothing stay calm for long!?

Here I feel like we could almost be looking out onto the landscape of the first image in today’s post. I’m transported to a castle, looking in on Rapunzel trapped inside but this castle isn’t the same as the one in the fairytale. It’s forever changing shape, growing up into the sky and then without a moments notice it’ll shrink down to the ground, giving Rapunzel the impression she can safely climb out before it springs back up again, high into the sky ☁️. For some reason I can’t decide whether or not it’s safer on this side of the image or out there in the open. It could be seen as a comfort zone type of thing where the great unknown is slightly enticing but the huge step it’d take to get out there implies there’d be no turning back. On a less daunting note, I like how the leafy forest in the distance seems to climb up like my vision of the castle itself! I can see myself standing all the way over there (I’m trying not to do so in an eery way like a trapped kid in the Witches Roald Dahl painting scene tho πŸ˜…..but now I can’t stop thinking about it 😭)….I’d be looking at the window from that viewpoint like one of those warped Wasgij puzzles where you imagine what the characters within can see πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«πŸ€£.

Soooo what do you think? Does anything come to mind when you look at the pictures? I’d love to know! πŸ˜„βœ¨ I hope you enjoyed the post too, I got lost within each image for a second there 🀣. I think I’ll make this into a series, but it’s gonna need a name so let’s get our thinking caps on! πŸ€”

Thank you for reading peeps! I’ll see you again on Friday but until then, stay safe, take care and have a wonderful day! βœ¨πŸ’•

  1. I don’t think the Vikings are invading. I think a cute older couple are enjoying their retirement, sitting on the shoreline with cups of coffee and fire to keep them warm. Somewhere on the other side of the fire, is a camper. Maybe in a few days they will be off somewhere else, but for now this place is the perfect escape.

    1. Oooh I love that! Two different experiences either side of the fire and they don’t know how similar they are to be there in the first place living in the moment πŸ”₯✨ Thanks for sharing Kristie! 🧑
