My Spring Bucket List 2020! 🌸 Sunrise, sadness & sleeping in 😴

Hi everyone! Hope you’re well ❤️❤️ I can’t tell you how happy I am that it’s now Spring! 😆 (Hopefully the weather will follow suit soon 😂🌞). The sun has been appearing a lot more lately + when it does it is often surrounded by a blue sky and I’m LOVING it! 🌁 Just when I started appreciating it, it disappeared and we seem to have gone back to Winter but I won’t give up hope! There’s too much at stake 😂 A while before Winter ended I started thinking of some things I would like to incorporate into the new season and of course I want to share it all with you so here we go! 🌸

Be up to see the sunrise at least once 🌄

It’s a running joke in my family that i have lie-ins most mornings 😂 It’s mainly because the migraine meds I’m on make me super tired. I often feel like if I wasn’t woken in the morning by a sound or family member I would continue to sleep forever 😴 I want to really try to get up early and see the sunrise because the last time I did (on the day of the Indiependence Festival last August) it felt so magical ✨

Lately what with all that’s going on I’ve been woken up a lot earlier by family members that are now home but are used to getting up early so I’ve fallen into a new habit and as moody as I am when I’m zoning back into this world from Dreamland (or the empty space in between that I often visit 😂) I try my best to just get up and start the day off. This can go one of two ways, fabulous or this jumpstart can shock my body and I’ll have a flare-up but I’m just gonna take each day as it comes and get up when I’ve judged the situation to be the right thing to do for the day ahead. With how much I’ve been packing into these days lately I wouldn’t want to fully deprive myself of the odd sleep in though! 😂

Learn something new everyday 💫

I think that learning something new everyday, no mater how big or small, is essential as then we each continue to grow as a person. Now that we’re in isolation I think I’m going to have to make more of an effort to find something to learn as opposed to it just coming along and slapping me in the face 😂 I intend to make the most of the time! So far it has already gotten me into new routines because I’ve needed new ways to escape, but I will save telling you them for another post that I have in mind 👀

Drink LOADS of water 🌊

This is super important. I’m forever up and down with my water habit but I really do feel the benefits when I’m of the latter end of the two. It’s unbelievably easy to become dehydrated so I think that this is the most important goal on the list that I need to achieve, especially in time for Summer when the temperature will go up uP UP 🌡️😂

Write down all of my poems in one place

I already have half of them in a starry notebook 🌟 and the rest are haphazardly scribbled in blogging journals. I like the idea of having them all in the same place so I want to complete the collection. It’s just getting round to doing it that’s the problem, I keep putting it off for some reason so I’m hoping having it on this list will give me that push to finish the task.

Make memories

I’ve missed that glowing orb in the sky with a passion so I want to make the most of it. I’m aware that with the Coronavirus it’s becoming impossible to go to places so this goal is open to indoor memories too as well as ones made in the garden/up the road for a walk 🌳

For once I’m glad I live in the middle of nowhere as at times like these that can only be a good thing in terms of contracting the virus 🤷 They are saying that soon those that are in at risk groups will be in full on quarantine and not even be allowed to leave the house to shop (instead getting it delivered) which is big news to us and will mean that a lot of people won’t come into contact with those that have the virus which is great. It distances us that bit more but we must remember that we are all in this together and must do our part in order to stay safe 💪

Have more happy times than sad

A lot of things that are out of my control have been getting me down. Sometimes I can draw myself away from the negativity but lately a great deal of it has been a side effect of my medicine so I don’t really know what to do (as it helps a huge part of the pain). Aside from this, I’ve had enough of allowing my moods to be affected by certain people so I’m going to not let them get me down and instead focus on my mental health. Some things just aren’t worth it. I know it’s not as simple as stating that I need to get over it. Putting the plan into action is tough but I know it’s for the best, I want to do all that I can in my control to feel better so that is what I will do.

Wear more jewelry

This feels random compared to the rest of these goals 😂. I like to think of jewelry as good luck charms (remember this post?? It was sooo long ago 😮) so I want to wear more of it. I’ve had on the same earings for an absolute age and I don’t see why I shouldn’t put in another pair so I’mma do it ✨
