My Autumn Bucket List Revisited 2019! πŸ‚….❄️

Hi everyone! πŸ’š Today I’m undertaking a very daunting task…it’s time to revisit my Autumn bucket list! (Incase you’re wondering it’s daunting because this means my favourite season is over in my eyes πŸ˜πŸ˜‚). Perhaps I shouldn’t say “it’s time” as I am in fact doing this early as with Christmas coming it feels like it’s Winter anyway so I’m ready to face a whole new set of goals. I love love LOVE 😲 Autumn so I’m disappointed to see it go but onwards and upwards to better things, I shall find positives in the new season (which shouldn’t be too difficult with all of the festivities going on πŸŽ„). For now let’s look back on my goals and access how I did with them:

Discover new podcasts/keep on listening to those that I already love!

I discovered loads of new podcasts but I didn’t dedicate a lot of time to listening to them πŸ™ˆ Half a goal achieved there! πŸ˜‚ I think this will have to be a silent unwritten goal that I will just carry with me forever!

Start a business venture

This goal took a sharp turn as I was so sure I wanted to make it happen and now I have other plans but I may very well revisit it in the future and make it happen (whereupon I can announce what it actually is! πŸ˜‚).

Go to local events + explore more places

I did! This kind of ties in with the very last goal on this list. I went pumpkin picking at Ballycross Apple Farm, had a haunted experience at Glenart Outdoors (both of which you can read about here) and went to see the Wild Lights in Dublin Zoo! (There is a post about that here) All three events were in places I’d never been to before as well πŸ’«

Bake

Yet again I cooked savoury dishes and didn’t even think to bake 🀦 Hold on a minute, I did make a pasta dish and put it in the oven! Does that count as baking? πŸ€” Anyway, I still want to make this happen but I don’t think I will put it down on my next list of goals as I get the feeling it will continue not to happen if I do πŸ˜‚

Make the most of each and every day whenever possible + try something new

Since turning 21 I have noticed that I have been attempting to make the most of each day and I finally have an idea of what I want to do which I wrote about here. I think that this new phase is encouraging me to make the most out of time as I want to look back and remember that I was doing something whenever well and able and not just sitting around feeling bored. All three events I listed above were new to me and I have also built up the courage to go shopping by myself and make phonecalls on the odd occasion too!! This is big for me as I HATE phonecalls πŸ˜‚ my heart went mad both before wondering how it would go and afterwards trying to figure out how I did it but in the moment I was fine strangely enough! I think in these little ways that are quite big to many people (including me!) I am growing as a person and this makes me very happen to see 🀣 its not like people say “it will get easier the more you do it” though, for me it stays as anxiety-inducing each time but the feeling I get once on the other side of facing my fears is worth it ✨

Thank YOU for reading πŸ˜‰ Did you set yourself any goals in Autumn? How are they going/did they go? Let me know in the comments below and have a wonderful day! πŸ’š

    1. Podcasts are great to relax back to and listen before you go to sleep ✨😴 I wish I’d achieved the goal of baking but I suppose it wasn’t meant to be. Thank you so much for reading! πŸ˜„πŸ’–

  1. I’m so proud of you for achieving many of your Autumn goals! ❀️πŸ’ͺ Well done beautiful! I also hate phone calls. It gets me anxious and uncomfortable. I also don’t agree with people saying the more you try something, the less anxiety you will have. I always feel anxious doing the same thing. Like I go all the time to Spain and have to fly and each time I’m anxious… I listen to a podcast or talk with people which helps me to calm down but the anxiety stays there.

    1. Thank you!! I have no idea what goals to set myself for Winter πŸ˜‚ I keep staring at a blank page and no ideas are coming aside from continuing a few of them. I think all we can do is pat ourselves on the back when we do something that makes us anxious and acknowledge it + be proud of any achievements as that’s got to help in some way whilst not giving in to it ❀️xx
