What to do when your blog stats are low!

Hi everyone! Today I will be writing about something that the majority of bloggers encounter from time to time, low stats! I think stats can be seen as a taboo subject in the blogosphere because no one likes to admit that theirs are down as you think it will make it look like you’re ungrateful for what you have and if you say they’re doing well you don’t want it to come across as showing off (you can’t win! πŸ˜‚).

Let’s turn that subject on it’s head and say that it’s okay to admit you’re not happy with how things are! Now that’s done you can move forward and figure out a way to fight it….hold on, you don’t have to figure it all out on your own because I’ve already come up with some tips for you on what to do when your stats are low! (I’m on a roll here πŸ˜‚). Read on to see what they are:

Don’t lose heart

Remember your blog is your happy place (despite it not feeling like it in this moment) and if you can get through half the things you already have in life then you can find a way through this. Giving up because of it is not the answer!

Interact + be alive in the community

Keep on commenting on a post that sparks something inside you and don’t let this get you down/or be the reason you drift away from all of your blogging friends! If you don’t feel like you’re a part of a blogging community check out my post on how to get involved in one HERE! (They are the absolute best and make blogging worthwhile!).

Ask for help

We’ve all been there and it’s refreshing to hear people speak up about it! Others may have some words of wisdom that will help you get through it and see the positive side to it. It always helps to know others have been in similar situations!

Accept that this is a phase you must pass through

You will come out the other side and that is a promise! It’s like most things in life: you can’t go over it, you must go through it!

Take note of any changes you have made

Think! πŸ’ Is there anything you’ve done differently lately to or with your blog? This alteration may have cost you your stats and so you should change it back (if you want to!) and again keep an eye out to see if things go back to the way they were!

Come up with a plan to implement some new ideas

Get your thinking cap on! 🀠 Go through what you seem to get the best reaction out of and more importantly what you enjoy writing the most, put your ideas onto paper and brainstorm! πŸ€“

Ask your readers what they would like to see from you

Let your readers know how your feel + what you’re going through and ask them what they personally like to see from you!

Thank you for reading! πŸ˜‰ What are your tips for when stats are low? Let us all know in the comments and have a great day! ❀️

If you have time to spare, please check out my what are your assumptions about me? post and contribute by getting in touch! I would love to hear from you and it would mean so much πŸ˜„

  1. This is such a helpful and positive post! My stats have always been on the low side. At first it was really disheartening and I thought I was just a rubbish blogger, now I realise it’s because I don’t physically have the time to blog, promote it or check out others’ posts either! I wish I did but somethings got to give x
