I’m back in a whole new year! 🖋️

Why hello there! Fancy seeing you here (fancy seeing me here too! 😂). I’m back on the blogging scene feeling well rested and ready to go. It’s so weird to think that we’re now in 2019! It’s like the year 2018 stopped halfway through and we’ve time traveled to now 😂 One thing I will say about 2019 is that it feels fresh like Spring has come early or something. I don’t remember the beginning of 2018 feeling like that but maybe it does every year and it just gets overlooked.

I had a wonderful Christmas and am beyond grateful for what I received. For me the best thing was seeing my family’s reaction to their gifts after envisioning it for so long. It is all kind of bittersweet now that it’s over. I was away at a friends house the day after Christmas and then the morning after that I woke up with the flu so the last little bit of festiveness still hasn’t fizzled out until I am well and can fully celebrate it again 😏😂

When I saw the new year in (sat watching Jools Holland countdown on TV 😂) I had a mini flashback to the year before when I did the exact same thing and it felt so strange as like now I had no idea what was in store for me in a year’s time.

I am determined to make the most of 2019 and not put myself down when my productivity shows in the way of wanting to read a book or do some colouring as that is still something more than nothing and a good book can be the be or end of a perfect year 🙌😂 I feel really positive about what is to come, whatever it may be and I can’t wait to share it all with you here on Elsie LMC!
