Blog posts I loved In May!

Hi everyone! How are you today? I can’t believe May is over! Or January, February, march and April πŸ˜‚ as this year is passing by so fast! I’m going on holiday in August and I can’t wait but at the same time I don’t want the memories to come and go like that! πŸ‘πŸ˜‚ Today I thought I would share with you some of my favourite posts from May! (All the posts on here have gone through process of elimination πŸ˜‚ as I truly love every post I hit the like button on and would fit them all in here if I could! πŸ˜„) but these are the first posts that came into to my mind when I thought of May:

Introducing A Light In The Darkness:My New Novel by Gracie Chick! I cannot explain how invested I am in this story πŸ˜‚ (so far four parts have been posted to Gracie’s blog but this is where it all started!) From reading this intro I was immediately left wanting..no!..needing more! πŸ˜‚ And its not everyday you can say that about a story. Gracie has an incredible way of telling a story whilst also slowly letting us get to know the characters along the way and not just leaving it all out in the open, they maintain an air of mystery (which I think is a hard thing to do in a story where the theme is strong and usually the characters would just be the random few who luckily got the part playing a small role within it but this was perfectly laid out and each character is in it for a reason. They fit right in and are growing with each chapter). I can always expect the unexpected with this ongoing novel and I love Gracie’s unique writing style that makes the story and guarantees a cliffhanger. I sound like a right fangirl πŸ˜‚ but you can’t help it when there’s a good story involved so check it out!

Cheila’s Blogging Party! To celebrate reaching 1000 followers (πŸ‘πŸŽ‰πŸ’—) the awesome Cheila decided to hold a blogging party last month! She wanted everyone else to have a reason to celebrate along with her and be happy which goes to show how kind she is. Can I just say how incredible this was as an idea let alone a reality! I was late to the party (πŸ™ˆ) and was incredibly nervous about commenting (probably even as nervous as if I had to turn up at a party in person πŸ˜‚) but I did it because it looked like so much fun and I was annoyed with myself for not supporting it sooner πŸ˜‚ and I’m so glad I did because I was not left hanging as some awesome bloggers (including Cheila herself) made me feel welcome and human πŸ˜‚ which has boosted my confidence so much and made me realize that nerves are a good thing if they result in feeling a part of something and proud afterwards 😊. A couple of days after the party, Cheila announced that everyone would be a winner and get an invitation to remember it! πŸ˜„ And she is also writing such lovely posts about everyone who took part. I would like to thank her again for the kind words she said about me here! πŸ’—

The Mini Greenhouse Garden DIY 🌱 by Tabi Bee! I am still in awe of this and it’s a feeling I don’t think I will be able to shake off for a while πŸ˜‚ this DIY is the stuff of dreams!! (A dream that is made real by following Tabi’s guidelines in the post! πŸ˜‚) I mean, just look at it! If I made it I would just sit and stare at it till next year πŸ˜‚ creativity is dangerously hypnotic πŸ˜¬πŸ˜‚ you can tell that allot of time and hard work goes into Tabi’s blog and this is just one of the many posts that make you magically end up in the art store questioning how you got there in the first place πŸ˜‚ answer is by reading something like this! πŸ˜‚

Its My Birthday! 26 things I’ve learned-#BirthMay Day 12 by Starring Pamela! I really enjoy reading all of Pamela’s posts , but one thing that has been on all of them this month is #BirthMay (which goes without explaining but I’mma do it anyway! πŸ˜‚) because last month was her birthday! πŸŽ‰πŸŽπŸŽˆ This hashtag made every post feel like a celebration and it’s all down to her birthday which showcased this post! I love reading posts where people say what they have learned in the years they have been alive as it tells you allot about them and how far they have come! Pamela is the reason I bought the book “A Court Of Thorns And Roses” by Sarah J Maas upon celebrating passing my driver’s theory as she has spoke about it and I was sooo intrigued to read it!! πŸ˜„ I don’t think I will ever forget #BirthMay!

To All Writers by Tiana (The Book Raven)! There are no words to express how reading this made me feel. One thing it did was motivate me to keep writing a story that I felt was eating away at my mind but was still not quite there so that I could have someone read it and react in the same way Tiana speaks about writers. It is incredible and makes me never want to give up on what I truly love doing. If you haven’t read this already then you’ve got a lovely heartfelt surprise coming your way!

Thank you for reading! πŸ˜‰πŸ’— Every post that I have hit the like button on this May has made my month! Be sure to go read the posts linked above, you won’t be disappointed! πŸ˜ƒ Have a lovely day!
